Additional Insights

The Kinnow Fruit Plant holds significant cultural and economic importance in India. Originally introduced as a hybrid between King and Willowleaf mandarins, it has become one of the most commercially successful citrus varieties in Punjab, Haryana, and Rajasthan. Its easy adaptability to North Indian climates has made it the backbone of regional citrus farming. However, it does require attentive care, as excessive fruit drop, pests, or irregular irrigation can affect yields negatively.

In the Indian fruit market, Kinnow enjoys strong consumer demand for its juicy and refreshing taste. The export potential is equally promising, with countries like Bangladesh, Nepal, and the Middle East being regular importers of this fruit. Home gardeners value the plant for its dual benefits—nutritious fruit and ornamental appeal. At Saharanpur Nursery, we provide healthy Kinnow Fruit Plants of different heights and grafted varieties, catering to both personal gardeners and commercial orchard developers.
